Who is the hunter? Who is the prey?
I have always wanted to see a Riddick/Predator crossover. I feel they could fit in the same universe.
Having the "X" instead of the "VS", means that this is not just a typical one side against the other. To me, this is a "crossing" that is more than just a simple "versus" story.
How I see the story; Riddick is always on the run from mercenaries. But these mercs are like no other. They are more like an army that are willing to do more.
Riddick travels deeper into space. These mercenaries are closing in and he knows he can't take them all on.
His travels take him to a dry planet where it's sun is on the verge of going supernova. The only way Riddick can survive this latest mercenary threat, is to try and trap them on the dry planet long enough for him to escape and let the supernova do it's thing.
But there is something else on this planet. Riddick feels something watching his every move.
For the past few days, Riddick felt like he is being watched and has never let his guard down. This unease has always put Riddick on edge.
Riddick's instinct was right. He was being watched by A warrior race that hunt and kill for the ultimate sport. This creature has been following Riddick for years. Learning and looking for any weak areas.
But as the saying goes; The enemy of my enemy, is my friend.
The mercenaries have landed. They are powerful and packing too much weaponry to fight against. So after days of hunting, the mercenaries capture the creature that has been trailing Riddick. Though they are still there for the capture of Riddick, Riddick has to have a different plan. His plan; save the creature from the mercenaries and fight against them. One Riddick might not be enough to take on this army of mercs. But a Riddick and a creature that has learned to emulate a Riddick could be more than enough. This will put all their skills to the ultimate test.
Riddick X Predator could potentially be a great crossover movie where we see two badass beings putting all their skills on show for all to see.
